Well you should come down to Beaman any way.

Do you by any chance have one of Jim's Traps with a tag on it??

I have a place to keep it safe if you do.

Teacher do you have access to facebook? If so please follow me at Trapline assassin I have my 2025/2026 season catch posted on there as well as several photos, coon candy is designed for use in dog proof traps I put just enough cat food to cover the trigger then a shot of coon candy in and onto the ground next to the trap. I will post a video on my facebook page demonstrating how I use the product.

OMG. leave the guy alone. You already gave him hell when he was trying to introduce a new product. If you aren't interested just leave it alone. He offered to send you some, but you choose to bad mouth it. NOT NESSESSARY

Re: Trapline assassin lures Teacher Yesterday at 08:45 PM
As you know, I’m old and a sceptic when it comes to trying new lures.

Things to consider when offering a new product:
—Give us a phone number or website to contact;
—Give us some indication it’s been tested by others around the country, under Trapline conditions;
—If we can see some pictures of catches/catch conditions, then we’d know it isn’t just a summer time ADC lure;
—If it is a warm weather ADC lure, let us know that.

Is it a trailing scent? In the back of a pocket scent? Is it edible if poured over bait? How should it/could it be used?

I buy built on trust of the manufacturer. This is not to say I don’t get something that doesn’t pan out in my neck of the woods once in a while. Stuff happens. But I kick butt when I use Billingsley’s beaver and coon baits and lures. And John Graham’s beaver based canine lures. And Carmen’s Hudson Seal. And so on. Their reputations and time in the field has made them trusted manufacturers.

Trust has to be there.

You might try contacting Cumberlands NW Trapper’s Supply in Owatonna, MN. You’ll have to go there to pick them up as I don’t think they ship used equipment. But they usually have a decent supply of used equipment and they’re good folks to deal with.
